Cheng NING (宁成) graduated from the Economics Department of Beijing Economics College in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree of economics and graduated from Economic Law Department of Peking University Law School in 1984 with a Master degree of law. Thereafter, Mr. Ning stayed at the school where he undertook the job of teaching and research on the contract law and investment law. In the year 1985, Mr. Ning pursued an advanced study in the Law School of Hamline University and the Law School of Minnesota University where he received an LL.M degree. Mr. Ning used to be the visiting professor of Law School of Florida University and Korea University of South Korea.
From 1991 through 1992, Mr. Ning worked with Dorsey & Whitney in Minnesota, U.S. as the PRC legal counsel and afterwards, worked with Grey,Plant Mooty, Mooty&. Benette in Minnesota as an associate.
At the end of the year 1992, Mr. Ning, as a major founder, contributed to the founding of Beijing Kaiyuan Law Firm, where he became a partner. In October 1994, Mr. Ning founded Tian Yuan Law Firm as a major founder.
Mr. Ning has long since been engaged in the academic research and the lawyer’s practice. Since the year 1993, Mr. Ning has taken charge of or participated in hundreds of legal services involving domestic trade, M&A, financing, real estates, and torts and has provided legal services for hundreds of foreign and home clients with respect to the composure and review of the legal documents concerning investment, real estate development, contracting, and project financing, rendering legal opinion and conciliation of commercial disputes.
