Qiang TONG (佟强) received his LLB degree from Peking University Law School in 1984 and has been teaching law in Peking University since his graduation. He is currently an associate professor in civil law and commercial law.
Mr. Tong was qualified as a PRC lawyer in 1986 and started his practice as a part-time lawyer since then. He joined Tian Yuan Law Firm as a part-time lawyer in 1993.
Mr. Tong has long-term experience in a broad array of practices, including litigation on civil and commercial disputes, intellectual property, real estate, international investment, torts claims, assets and equity exchange projects, corporate as well as futures, all of which makes him greatly trustworthy in the eyes of local and foreign clients.
Mr. Tong represented numerous domestic or foreign large-scale enterprises, joint-ventures and banks in their transactions. In addition to various types of litigation and arbitration on civil or commercial matters, he also engaged in negotiation for a number of projects, in drafting of joint-venture or cooperation contracts and of articles of association and took part in structuring, preparing and reviewing documents, advising and issuing legal memorandums for clients in their projects, such as establishment of a company limited by shares, transfer of shares, real estate transactions, leasing and finance, futures exchange projects, security interests in property, liquidation and insolvency.
