  • Advised CTG International on a US$ 1.8 billion Karot hydro power project, a BOOT hydropower development in Pakistan, including IA, PPA, WUA and related project finance provided by China Eximbank, China Development Bank, IFC and Silk Road Fund, 2017 Deal of Year (Project Finance) of China Business Law Journal, 2017 Deal of Year (Energy) of China Law & Practice;
  • Advised Sinosure on IA, PPA and sovereign guarantee in connection with 900 MW ECA-backed solar power project of Zoenergy in Punjab, Pakistan;

Professional History
  • Mr. Chai is a senior partner in Tian Yuan’s M&A Practice. Mr. Chai’s practice covers a wide range of outbound and inbound transactions, including cross-border M&A and financing matters, and he has extensive experience in legal service for investment and development as well as construction of major power, mining, natural resources, and a wide range of industries.
