Tian Yuan served as the issuer counsel of China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (CNNP) for its listing in the main board of Shanghai Stock Exchange on June 10, 2015, which took eight years for the listing and became the first share of China nuclear power. CN Tian Yuan Provided Legal Services forChina National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.’s Listing in Shanghai Stock Exchange NP offered 3.891 billion shares to the public at the price of RMB 3.39 per share and raised RMB 12.9 billion net capital. With the opening price of RMB 4.07 and closing price of RMB 4.88, CNNP experienced a sharp increase amount of 43.95%, ranking the highest limited increase amount at that day. CNNP is the biggest state-owned enterprise of A-shares IPO and financing in the recent five years, and it is the first pure nuclear shares in A-shares market in China.
CNNP was jointly established by China National Nuclear Corporation as the controlling shareholder, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Ocean Shipping(Group) Company, and Aerospace Investment Holding Co., Ltd., and it mainly dealt with the development, investment, establishment, operation and management of nuclear power projects, the research of safe operation of nuclear power, and the consultation of related technological services. By the end of 2014, CNNP owned RMB 222.4 billion total assets and tens of thousands staff, and it also shareholding-invested 9.773 million KW nuclear power capacity, ranking the biggest market share of shareholding nuclear power capacity.
