The 18th session of “China Staff Awards” ceremony, which was also the development forum of human-resource management, was held by Wolters Kluwer at Shanghai Ritz-Carlton on December 3, 2015. Partner Wei Guo in Tian Yuan was awarded the “Excellent Legal Case of Labor Law” in 2015, and he was nominated the “Excellent Labor Lawyer of 2015”.
The judging panel and experts had put it in this way: Mr. Guo’s legal case of Labor Law was a perfect combination of evidence and ligation strategy, and Mr. Guo was an excellent lawyer working on the frontline of labor law area.
“China Staff Awards” was started in 1998 to honor special human-resource persons and organizations that had dominated to help prove the competition of domestic and foreign companies. The 18thsession began in August, 2015 and the honor of excellent labor lawyers was the first time to have been awarded in the election. Taking the stick standard, square election and outstanding candidates into consideration, Mr. Guo’s award could well show the profession of Tian Yuan’s labor law team.
This session of “China Staff Awards” was elected by more than 3300 HR professionals to vote on line about 32 typical cases of labor law in 2015, and meanwhile, 34 related awards materials were anonymously judged by experts and authoritative jury in labor law, including Tianguo Li (the manager of Labor Dispute Lab of Labor Scientific Institute in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China), Guoliang Zhou (the president of Shanghai Labor Dispute Arbitration Court), Bin Zhou (the editor-in-chief of Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security), and some partners in related law firms.
