CLECSS announced the results of the first Best ESG Law Firm Award today. Tian Yuan won the Best Environmental & Pro-Bono Award for its outstanding performance in the Alxa Tengger Desert Ecology "Planting Trees and Loving-Hearts" initiative and its special contribution to social ecology and environmental management.

Since its establishment in 1992, Tian Yuan has always been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities and repaying the strong support given by all sectors of society. To be a law firm with a sense of social responsibility has always been the core concept of Tian Yuan's operation. Tian Yuan strives to bring changes to employees, customers and society and improve the living environment through professionalism, services and resources.
Since 2015, Tianyuan has donated to the China Greening Foundation and launched the "Planting Trees and Loving-Hearts" public welfare action at the Tengger Desert Ecological Public Welfare Base in Alxa. It has been going to the Tengger Desert to carry out tree planting public welfare activities for six consecutive years. At Tian Yuan, we not only take up this social responsibility through donations, but also become a part of ecological construction and contribute a small amount to the ecological environment. Years of hard work have burst into vitality in this desert. It is hoped that with the participation and support of the whole society, the desert can be better managed, and the Tengger Desert can become Tengger Tala (paradise like grassland) one day.
Tian Yuan has an excellent tradition of fulfilling its social responsibility and is courageous in taking up this responsibility, including the Western Lawyer Training Program which we have supported for many years, the "Tian Yuan Lawyer Practice Courses" of Peking University Law School, the Mentougou Farming Support Program, and special support for the Global Lawyers Forum and the establishment of the "Belt and Road" Lawyers Alliance. We have actively participated in the special activities for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, the series of activities of "I do practical things for the masses" for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, anti-epidemic disaster relief and support, and co-organized the academic seminar commemorating the centenary of Mr. Tong Rou's birth. We held the Tian Yuan Lawyer Grand Prix at China University of Political Science and Law for ten years, and sponsored a series of activities such as the Peking University Legal Film Festival and the Moot Court Competition for many years. At the same time, as a professional legal institution, Tian Yuan remains true to its original aspiration and always has a sense of mission and responsibility to serve the society, actively responds to national strategies, escorts the Belt and Road Initiative, fully supports the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and sets sail for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, make efforts to help hundreds of high-tech, high-end manufacturing, biotechnology and medical health companies enter the innovative capital market, deepen the legal services of the new economy and digital economy, continue to contribute to social development, and continue to contribute to the promotion and practice of lawyers' social responsibilities strength.
