  • Act for a HK private equity firm against a Chinese retailer and its shareholders in an HKIAC administered arbitration concerning share redemption disputes arising out of JV contract and related agreements, with a value of claim around USD 100 million.
  • Act for an international private equity firm in an HKIAC administered arbitration concerning share redemption disputes arising out of transaction agreements. The language of the arbitration is English. The amount in dispute is about USD 35million.
  • Act for a state-owned company against an international biochemical company in the Singapore International Arbitration Center (“SIAC”) administered arbitration proceedings in respect of disputes arising out of a JV contract. The language of the arbitration is English. The amount of claim is around USD 30 million.
  • Act for a Chinese real estate developer against a subsidiary of an international hospitality group in the HKIAC administered mediation and arbitration proceedings concerning disputes arising out of a Hotel Management Agreement, with a value of claim about USD 60 million. The language of arbitration is English.
  • Collaborate with a US law firm in defending a Chinese medical device company against Philips in a trade secret related action in a US District Court, Illinois.
  • Act for a financial equipment manufacturer to defend against the recognition and enforcement of a HKIAC award in mainland China in patent and trade secret disputes relating to over 130 patents, the awarded amount of which is over USD 450 million. 
  • Act for a UK group company for opposing the application of trademarks by its Chinese partner in China; deal with the JV contract dispute between client and its Chinese partner.
  • Act for a state-owned company against an Indian company in the SIAC administered arbitration proceedings in respect of disputes arising out of an international sales contract. The language of the arbitration is English.
  • Act for a state-owned company, against a Thai company in disputes arising out of a charter agreement in connection with charter flights. The arbitration proceedings were administered by Beijing Arbitration Centre (“BAC”). The language of arbitration is English.
  • Collaborating with a US law firm in defending a Chinese Food Enterprise in a contractual dispute in a US District Court, California.
  • Act for a US company technology company against a state-owned company in disputes arising out of a technology development contract, the arbitration of which was administered by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission(“CIETAC”).
  • Act for a renowned Chinese company against a famous Japanese corporation group in recognizing and enforcing an HKIAC arbitral award, the amount of which is around USD 500 million.
  • Act for a domestic listed company in a VAM-related dispute in an arbitration administered by CIETAC. The value of the contract in dispute was about USD 30million.
  • Act for a Cayman company in CIETAC arbitration proceedings concerning disputes arising out of the repurchase of convertible promissory notes, with a value of claim over USD 5 million.
  • Act for a state-owned company against an Omani company in disputes arising out of an international sale of goods agreement (CIETAC).
