Wei is one of China’s leading antitrust and competition lawyers. With more than twenty years of experience, he has been widely recognized as a leading antitrust lawyer by Chambers, Legal 500, and other major legal directories for over a decade.

Wei has handled hundreds of merger control filings, from simplified procedures to transactions requiring remedies. He regularly advises on complex, sensitive deals across sectors such as semiconductors, internet, and pharmaceuticals, and is known for guiding clients through clearance strategy, stakeholder management, and regulatory risk in high-stakes transactions.

He also has a formidable reputation in antitrust litigation. Wei has represented clients in many of China’s most significant antitrust disputes, including the 3Q war, Apple v. Qualcomm, and JD v.
