Shunshun Sun (Guangzhou Office)
Mr. Sun graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and is a member of both the Guangdong Provincial and Guangzhou Municipal Foreign-Related Legal Talent Pools.
He has long focused on customs and international trade, commercial disputes and corporate compliance, with particular distinction in customs-related legal services.
Mr. Sun is highly experienced in customs enforcement and regulatory practice. He has represented clients in numerous smuggling-related criminal cases, administrative penalty proceedings and customs investigations. Several major smuggling cases handled by him were designated for supervision by the Supreme People's Procuratorate or the General Administration of Customs and achieved outstanding defense outcomes.
His representative matters include China's first smuggling case involving vessel oily wastewater, Guangzhou's first cross-border e-commerce smuggling case, and a landmark customs investigation involving an independent chip design enterprise.
In the commercial sector, Mr. Sun has advised numerous large state-owned enterprises and leading private companies on compliance, overseas expansion and corporate advisory matters, while also successfully representing clients in complex disputes involving claims exceeding RMB 100 million.
